Scope and Contents This collection contains a transcript of an oral history tape made with Jill Baniewicz on April 12, 1990. Boyer tells about hearing that the Japanese had bombed Pearl Harbor and his entry into the Air Corp. He was a radio operator and a gunner and was wounded when the airplane he was in was shot down over Germany. Boyer discusses the air fight and the plane crash. He talks about how German civilians and military treated him and life as a Prisoner of War (POW).
