This collection includes a debtor's ledger of Fletcher, Butler, and Yandes containing entries from 1842 to 1854, with the bulk of the entries ranging from 1842 to 1846. The collection consists of three savings account books kept by customers of the Fletcher Savings and Trust Company, dating 1928 to 1933. The book once used by Billie Rose shows an initial entry of April 1928 and continues through Mauy of 1933. Two account books maintained by Charles Rose and Elmner Johnson both have initial dates of transactions in November of 1931.

The collection includes one account book with entries dating from 1853 to 1863. It has an index in the front with customers' names and the page numbers on which their individual accounts may be found. The accounts list the purchases of grocery and non-grocery items. The merchant who kept this account book dealt in subscriptions to periodicals as well.
