 Collection — Folder: S1864
Identifier: S1864

Scope and Contents

This collection includes a "Bickmore's Farm Account Book" containing records ranging from 1916 to 1917 of a farm located in Hancock County, Indiana. The account book records information regarding the breeding of farm animals, work done and payment made for farm labor, doctor fees, and other farm expenses. Also part of the collection is a "High Value Composition Book," purchased from Brewster's O.K. Drugstore in Fortville, Indiana, and used to record the farm accounts in 1922. A large number of the entries are related to Mary L. Keaster and other entries suggest the two account books were kept by her son Renzo Keaster.
