Scope and Contents The collection contains photographs, programs, bulletins, and playbills from 1916 to 1918 regarding Barbara Schmidt and her performances in New Castle, Indiana and surrounding areas. There is also a scrapbook dated 1919-1928 (OB041).
Scope and Contents This collection includes materials about the law firm of Bingham McHale, formerly Bingham, Summers Welsh and Spilman, in Indianapolis, Indiana, from 1912 to 2011. Much of the information regards Governor Matthew E. Welsh, who was a partner in the firm. This includes the tribute dinner given to him by Vincennes University in 1993 and a speech of his reminiscences. Claude M. Spilman's World War II memoirs, which he wrote while a partner at the firm, tells of his experiences in Germany and France....
Scope and Contents The collection contains transcripts of interviews and audio recordings from the Gary Public Library about the early days of Gary, Indiana ranging from 1955 to 1970. Eight of the folders contain items that were part of a series titled "Gary Public Library presents Living Voices of the Pinoeers," many of which were broadcast on the radio for the Gary "Golden Jubliee" in 1956. There is also a recording from a Lion Club of Gary banquet in honor of Al Greene.

Scope and Contents One letter dated January 3, 1942 is the only item in this collection. The letterhead is for Kenneth R. Shaffer, Order Librarian, Indiana State Library, Indianapolis. Scope and Contents This collection includes two advertisement pamphlets for Karl Schneider circa 1903 to 1910. The first pamphlet promotes Schneider as a "Teacher of the Art of Singing" and contains a summary of his musical training in Europe and tuition prices. In the second pamphlet, he promotes himself as a bass baritone singer available for engagements of oratorio, concerts, and song recitals and lists samples of his recital programs and his repertoire. Both pamphlets contain his photograph.
