Scope and Contents On August 29, 1881, R. S. Russell, Zionsville, Indiana, wrote to Isaac Thornburg and enclosed a flyer about his Chester white hogs with the prices for 1880. On October 27, 1881, S. R. Quick wrote to Isaac about "a dark red bull calf about six months old" selling for $75.00. Mr. Quick's letterhead states: Forest Shade Farm, S. R.
