Scope and Contents This is one volume titled “Diary of a Soldier” by Job Barnard. There is also a note stating “Printed by Charles Arthur Barnard, 1893”. The diary is typed and is 106 pages long. The diary opens with Barnard joining Company K of the 73rd Indiana Infantry in 1862 and concludes with his mustering out in the middle of 1865. The diary consists of semi daily entries of varying lengths. Some entries are only a sentence or two long while others last for a page or more.
