Biographical Note

Sylvester Bryant, born during 1839 in Ohio, enlisted from Tippecanoe County, Indiana in Company F, Indiana 150th Infantry Regiment on February 17, 1865 and was mustered out on August 5, 1865. He married Elizabeth Gooley or Cooley on June 5, 1864 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. They had 3 children. He and Elizabeth appear to have lived apart at the time of the 1880 census. He died in 1892 and is buried in Concord Cemetery, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.

Biographical Note

John T. Bryant, born during 1844 in Indiana to Guerrant and Lydia Bryant, had four siblings, including a brother, Samuel. John enlisted in the Union Army, Company K, Indiana 15th Infantry Regiment on June 14, 1861. He was mustered out on June 25, 1865. He lived and worked as a farm laborer/gardener in Lauramie, Tippecanoe County, Indiana most of his life, during his later years living with his aunt and uncle, the Stingleys or Stinglays. He died in 1910 and is buried in Stingley Cemetery in Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
