Scope and Contents This collection includes a typewritten transcription made of a March 10, 1839 letter written by Nathaniel Paige of New London, Oneida County, New York and sent to his brother Joshua Paige at the "Blackcrick" post office of Sullivan County, Indiana. The letter conveys information regarding the death of their mother on May 29, 1837, farm prices, and family news. The transcribed copy was made from the original letter in the possession of Noah Stafford of Marco, Greene County, Indiana.
