Scope and Contents This collection includes notes compiled and collected by Thelma Murphy about Indiana Civil War generals as well as regiments from Indiana. The first box has 59 folders for generals from A-M. The second box has 34 folders for generals from N-W, plus four additional folders. Three of the additional folders have notes on regiments. The last folder has miscellaneous information including photographs and newspaper clippings.

Hulick in the United States ranging from 1863 to 1864, while they were serving during the U.S. Civil War. David Hulick's letter is dated March 1863 from Murfreesboro, Tennessee while Isaac's was sent in May 1864 from New Orleans, Louisiana.
