This collection includes notes compiled and collected by Thelma Murphy about Indiana Civil War generals as well as regiments from Indiana. There are also three folders with information on Union Army regiments. The last folder has miscellaneous information including photographs and newspaper clippings.

Historical Note

Thelma Murphy, a member of the Indianapolis Civil War Round Table, collected this information on Civil War generals and regiments from Indiana. According to the "Hardtack", which is the newsletter for the Round Table, she was a member in December 1958 when she published the list for fellow members.
