Scope and Contents Mary Margaret McBride sent two post cards in 1940 and 1956, and one short letter in 1939. In 1939, Mary complimented Agnes for the "wonderful article in the Matrix." Mary wrote: "I love you for doing it so sympathetically and beautifully." The post card in 1940 tells Agnes that she is going to Missouri in the spring, and has a speaking engagement in Kansas City. Scope and Contents This collection includes the July 16, 1999 agreement between Governor Frank O'Bannon and Governor Fumio Watanabe in English and Japanese as well as a handmade wooden box by artist, Osamu Watanabe, possibly created during 1998-1999. Osamu attended the Tochigi Prefectural School of Ceramics in Mashiko and later established a studio in New York City during 1978.
