Scope and Contents This collection includes four bound volumes containing typewritten transcriptions of General Robert Huston Milroy’s papers that range from 1854 to 1910. The papers were compiled and transcribed by Margaret B. Paulus in 1965 and include Milroy’s family and military correspondence, newspaper articles, and other documents related to Milroy’s life and his service in the Civil War.

Scope and Contents This collection includes a photograph with black-and-white snapshot photographs taken by Marvin E. Coffman in Japan during Fall 1945 after the Japanese surrendered at the end of World War II. The photographs concern scenes and people in Japan where Coffman was stationed, including American soldiers and military police, Japanese civilians, buildings, local sights, army checkpoints and sites, and destruction from the war. There are also a few pages of Japanese and American stamps.
