Scope and Contents This collection includes photocopies of a history of the Livonia Presbyterian Church of Washington County, Indiana written by Rev. Samuel E. Barr in 1876. Rev. Barr's "historical review" of the church and of Presbyterianism in the region was written in response to the recommendation by the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of the United States that histories of the churches under its care should "be gathered up and presented for reference in future days."

The collection also includes photocopies of the record book of the Associate Presbytery of Northern Indiana containing entries ranging from 1849 to 1892.
