Scope and Contents This collection includes a November 17, 1992 letter written by Norma Griebel and sent to "Delores and Barney" [Barnhart] with a reprint of a 1931 picture of students of the Madden Grade School that was located on Bryie Road, Eel River Township, Allen County, Indiana. In the letter she lists the names of the students in each row as remembered by herself and her sister Phyllis. Scope and Contents This collection contains a copy of the weather diary begun by Rapin Andrews in 1837. After his death in 1849, the diary was continued by an unknown individual. Locations for temperature readings were Gorham, Ontario County, New York (1837-1839) and Perry Township, Allen County, Indiana. Rapin recorded the temperature three times daily. Scope and Contents This collection contains photocopies of William Miesse's papers dating from 1842 to 1850 and includes letters written to Miesse, bills and receipts, and handwritten directions on a "cure for ague". There is also a sheriff's sale notification with regard to the case of Sarah Bell v. Benjamin Blossom from July of 1870. Also included are photocopies of Judge Vaughan's pocket ledger with entries dating from 1850 to 1856.
