Roby, a resident of Salem, Washington County, Indiana from her cousins, William and Agnes Scott, of Smyrna, Iowa and from other family living in Xenia, Illinois ranging from 1855 to 1868 regarding farm life and family news. Also included in the collection are some of the original envelopes with postage stamps, two receipts, and an envelope with scraps of dress goods.
