Biographical Note

George Kendall Marshall was from Carroll County, Indiana and served as corporal, 1st sergeant, 2nd lieutenant, 1st lieutenant, and captain of Company A, 9th Indiana Regiments in the U.S. Civil War. After the war, he moved back to Indiana and bought a farm in Clinton Township, Cass County. He was survived by his son George Arthur Marshall.
