Allison Transmission visitor's book

Scope and Contents This collection contains the visitor's book of Allison Transmission, ranging from 1943 to 1947. The notes in the book were written by former employees who had joined the military for the war. Most of the notes contain the name and address of the individual, a brief note explaining what the individual is doing for the military, a greeting to his former co-workers, and the Allison Transmission department number where he had worked.
