Scope and Contents This collection includes a typewritten copy of Chester F. Brenton's manuscript, "The Life and Times of Henry Brenton: Minister of the Gospel" dated January 1, 1977. It is the second volume in his Brenton family series and includes family history and information about the early years of Kentucky and Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana.

Scope and Contents There are four items in this collection: (1) Rev. George Knight Hester's 1851 Diary, which is really a memoir, consisting of 18 typed pages; (2-3) a partial letter from Saguaches, Colorado, written on November 14, no year, to "Sister dear" on brown paper with no signature, accompanied by a transcription of the letter; and (4) "Papers Relating To The Hester Family" compiled by the Indiana State Library, 1926. Scope and Contents This collection includes three clippings of the newspaper column, "A Hoosier Listening Post," written by Kate Milner Rabb. The 1931 columns ran in the Indianapolis Star on September 22, 23 and 25. Scope and Contents This collection contains “A History of the North Indiana Conference, Formerly ‘The Wabash Conference’”, written and submitted by conference secretary Alex H. Widney of Rensselaer, Indiana in 1868.
