Biographical / Historical

Henry Wright (1850-1923) was married to Mary Susan Bromwell (1842-1915) in Morgan County, Indiana. They had four children: Lewis Bromwell Wright, Harry Jacob Wright, Bertram A. Wright, and Hallie Wright Deer.

Mary Susan Bromwell was one of seven children born to Reverend Jacob Lowe (1792-1871) and Charlotte (Brunnemer) Bromwell (1809-1872), who moved to Morgan County, Indiana in the 1830s Her siblings were Elizabeth Anne (Bromwell) Dressler (1829-1901); Esther Melissa (Bromwell) Freeman (1847-1932); John Brunnember Bromwell (1833-1865); Jeremiah Fletcher Bromwell (1839-1915), Martha Melinda (Bromwell) Knox (1837-1910), and a child who died in infancy.
