Indianapolis Civil War Round Table

Scope and Contents This collection includes correspondence pertaining to the Gettysburg Address Reenactment performed at the Indiana State Capitol in Indianapolis on November 19, 1980. The program entitled "A New Birth of Freedom," which includes pictures of the participants in costume, is also available in the collection.

Scope and Contents This collection includes notes compiled and collected by Thelma Murphy about Indiana Civil War generals as well as regiments from Indiana. The first box has 59 folders for generals from A-M. The second box has 34 folders for generals from N-W, plus four additional folders. Three of the additional folders have notes on regiments. The last folder has miscellaneous information including photographs and newspaper clippings.

Scope and Contents This collection includes newsletters, entitled "Hardtack," beginning in 1983, as well as notes from annual executive board meetings, agendas of monthly meetings, lists of past presidents, and financial information from the Indianapolis Civil War Round Table. There are some handouts from speakers.
