Scope and Contents This collection consists primarily of Baker’s letters to Thelma M. Murphy of Indianapolis. Murphy was able to obtain resources that furthered Baker’s research into the history of Spencer County, and especially Abraham Lincoln. Also contained in this collection are clippings from the Grandview Monitor of Baker’s writings on subjects related to his correspondence with Murphy.

Scope and Contents This collection includes notes compiled and collected by Thelma Murphy about Indiana Civil War generals as well as regiments from Indiana. The first box has 59 folders for generals from A-M. The second box has 34 folders for generals from N-W, plus four additional folders. Three of the additional folders have notes on regiments. The last folder has miscellaneous information including photographs and newspaper clippings.

Scope and Contents This collection contains transcripts of oral history interviews with residents of Irvington, once a town in Marion County, and now a neighborhood in Indianapolis, Indiana, ranging from 1978 to 1987. The interviews were conducted primarily by Lois Leamon and others for Indianapolis Public Library, Hilton U. Brown Branch's Irvington Oral History Project. The transcripts include historical information about the town-cum-neighborhood and the people who lived there.
