Scope and Contents This collection includes a debtor's ledger of Fletcher, Butler, and Yandes containing entries from 1842 to 1854, with the bulk of the entries ranging from 1842 to 1846. Following the dissolution of the firm's partnership in 1843, Butler continued work on the accounts and the ledger has the notation "B & N" above several entries, presumably the abbreviation for the firm of Butler and Newcomb.
