Scope and Contents This collection includes a July 3, 1903 handwritten letter from Clarissa Curtis to her nephew containing some genealogical information about the Curtis family. Along with the letter there is a supplemental listing of birthdates of members of the Curtis family dating back to 1795.

Scope and Contents The collection includes a typescript family history entitled "Curtis Family History." The history begins in the year 1763 with Lottie Relander's great-great grandfather, who lived in Virginia in the early 1770s, and concludes with the 1870 marriage of Mary Gregg, Lottie Relander's mother, to Charles Relander, an immigrant from Sweden living in Danville, Indiana. Scope and Contents The collection includes estate and business papers of Joseph Bailey, Francis Howe’s letters to his fiancée Rose Bailey, Rose Bailey’s letters to her two daughters while they attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods Academy (1855-1869). Also included is correspondence with Rose Bailey Howe’s sister Eleanor who became a nun, Mother Mary Cecilia.
