She mentions letters she received from her brothers, Morris and Sol, and from Dave Morton and Libe (?) who were all serving in Company A, 16th Indiana Regiment. She relates some of what the soldiers were experiencing while traveling "down the river", mentions Arkansas Post, and that she is talking of "going as a nurse to Memphis."
