Scope and Contents This collection consists of a "Blank Book" manufactured by the William B. Burford Company of Indianapolis, Indiana and used by C. Earl Suffrins starting on February 7, 1905 to record the books that he had read by a number of authors. Much of the volume is empty, but in the back there are several handwritten pages of notes written by his father, Charles A. Suffrin, about his "Life Story." Scope and Contents This collection includes a photogravure print of the first Indiana State University Library designed by the Indianapolis architectural firm of G .W. Bunting and Son. The photogravure was created by William B. Burford of Indianapolis in circa 1920. There is a handwritten note on the back of the print about Jobyna Howland, an American stage and screen actress who was the niece of George W. Bunting.
