Scope and Contents This collection is a copy of the small travel journal used by J. Adam Clark in 1854. Most of the penmanship is too faint to read, perhaps because it was in pencil. On page 30, the writing appears to be in ink and therefore easy to read. He traveled to several places in Michigan. In Chicago, he visited cousin George and "took tea with him."
