Folder one contains a January 28, 1929 letter from Melvin B. Stratton to Louis J. Bailey, and two typed copies of typed papers by Stratton. Each paper is 14 pages long, and recounts Stratton's life in Ridgeville, Indiana, in the 1870s and 1880s.
