Collection includes 8 bound volumes of accounts for a general store Mr. King ran with various partners in Bethlehem (later Carmel), Indiana, from 1846 or 1847 until after 1864. The volumes include a daybook, March 18, 1847 to July 3, 1848; an indexed account book, 1853-1857; and 6 daybooks, 1856-1863.
