Biographical Note

George W. Hinshaw was born on January 10, 1861, to Enos (1834-1900) and Martha Ruddell (Haines) Hinshaw (1834-1908) in Hamilton County, Indiana. He married Nellie Moore (1875-1898) and they had a son, Glen Royal (1898-1982). After Nellie's death, he married Hannah Head in 1901 and had five children: Blanche (1902-1988), Ralph (1907-1907), Mark (1908-1908), Raymond J. (1910-1987), and Clifford Kenton (1911-1990). George W. Hinshaw died on February 9, 1935 in Indianapolis and was buried in Poplar Ridge Cemetery in Carmel, Indiana.

James F. Haines was born in Virginia in 1806, but moved to Clay, Indiana. He married and had two children.
