Biographical Note
Blanche Hinshaw was the daughter of George Hinshaw, who was the owner of the diary pages. George Hinshaw was born in Indiana in 1861. He married Hannah Head in 1901 and had four children.
James F. Haines was born in Virginia in 1806, but moved to Clay, Indiana. He married and had two children.
