This collection comprises a 42-page manuscript written by Theodore Stempfel circa 1935 regarding the two German sculptors, Karl Bitter and Rudolf Schwarz, the creators of the Indiana Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument in Indianapolis, Indiana, whom he knew personally. Eberhard Reichmann edited this manuscript for publication in 2002 for publication on the 100th anniversary of the monument's dedication.
