Scope and Contents This collection contains one letter from R[obert] W. Allen to James Allen written on November 26, 1851. The letter discusses the influenza outbreak and that Frankfort, Indiana has been spared the worst of the flu. The incidence of death was low and there were few who contracted the illness. Also discussed are community members and their well being along with the hopes of a railroad passing through Rockville and connecting with Lafayette.

There are also family and school papers, as well as World War II ration books and records.
