The collection consists of 291 black and white, 3 x 5-inch photographic prints depicting life at Camp Atterbury, Indiana in the midst of World War II. Three of the images have copies. The photographs were taken by William J. Moriarty, Sr., a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, as part of his duties for the U.S. Signal Corps while he was stationed there in 1943. This collection includes two black-and-white panoramic photographs from two Journeymen Barbers International Union of America conventions held in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 6, 1914 and September 11, 1924. The convention attendees were photographed in front of the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
