Scope and Contents The collection contains the diary, pension, and letter of John Myers. Myers’s diary entries begin on May 10, 1864, at Ringgold, Georgia, and ends on May 30, 1865 at Washington, D.C. This consists of 31 pages Xeroxed from the original small pages, 6 ½ wide x 4” high. From pages 32 to 39, John listed his finances, giving the total of $650.00 which he received while in the U.S. army service.
