Biographical Note

Elisha Denny was born December 11, 1784 in Frederick County, Virginia to Robert and Rachel Denny. At the age of two, his family moved to Mercer County, Kentucky. On November 8, 1810, he married Polly Hedger, daughter of Thomas and Mary Hedger. Denny died on October 21, 1855.
