Biographical Note

Albert Glenn Cooper was born February 10, 1912 in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of Edmund Squire Cooper and Maude Earl (Kinsley) Cooper. He was educated in the public schools of Des Moines and St. Louis, Missouri before entering Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, where he earned an A.B. degree. Later, Cooper acquired an M.A. degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He taught in the public schools of Jennings, a suburb of Saint Louis, for 24 years before his retirement." Cooper married Frances Elizabeth (Campbell) Cooper, who was also a retired teacher. The couple resided in Columbia, Missouri until his death in 1985.
