Historical Note
The City-County Building is a 28-story building at 200 East Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, that houses the offices of the consolidated city-county government of Indianapolis and Marion County, Indiana, known as Unigov. It was completed in 1962 and contains the Marion County Courts, headquarters of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, and the Indianapolis City-County Council, as well as the office of the city's mayor. At least part of the building will likely be repurposed in the near future as half of the building's current staff will move to the new Community Justice Center in early 2022.
