Biographical / Historical

Albert E. Farmer was born on October 7, 1910 to Charles L. and Aline Farmer in Nebraska. He worked for Standard Brands before going into the jewelry business, first working for E.H. Nichols in 1943. In 1949, he opened his own store, Farmer's Jewelry, located on East Wasthington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana until 1956, when it relocated. Farmer was a member of the Keystone Lodge No. 251, Scottish Rite and Murat Temple for over 40 years. He married Elizabeth L. Neal on May 3, 1930 and they had a daughter, Ruby Eilene (Farmer) Brydon. Farmer died November 11, 2003.

Ruby Eilene Farmer married Robert T. Brydon on September 26, 1948 in Woodruff Place Baptist Church in Indianapolis.
