This collection includes photographs from the Crawford and Dawson families in Indiana ranging from circa 1890s to 1910s, depicting portraits of children, young adults, and family groups, and snapsnots of family members, which include a couple of American soliders, probably around World War I.

Biographical / Historical

Alexander and Sarah J. Crawford lived in Lawrence, Marion County, Indiana and had several children, including Joseph, Mary E., Ella B., Jane M., Anna F., Crealious (also spelled Corelias, Cornelius), Martha E., and Charles I.

Crealious Everett (1871-1957), a farmer, and his Mary Jane (Humflett) (1870-1958) Crawford lived in Hancock County, Indiana and had two children, Dulcie Irene (1902-1995) and Glen D. (1905-1980). Dulcie married Horace G. Dawson.
