Biographical Note

Levi L. Levering enlisted on August 15, 1862 in Company F, Indiana 33rd Infantry Regiment and was discharged on June 1, 1865 in Louisville, Kentucky. Levering was a part of the 33rd Indiana Band during the U.S. Civil War. After the war, he resided in Columbus, Bartholomew County, Indiana.
