This collection includes family correspondence, a birth announcement from the Johnston family, an early report card for the 1884 school year from a school in Rushville, Indiana for Bertha Moore, and an oversize photograph from Bertha Moore on New Year's Day 1902 (B079). Collection dates range from 1816 to 1908.

There are also 17 tintypes, including Miss Susie Best of Fairfield, Indiana, Bertha B. Moore Johnston, William R. Moore, C. T. Turner, and 13 unidentified portraits.

There is also a 1902 oversize photograph (B079).
