Historical Note
The Little Sugar Creek Christian Church was founded in the summer of 1834 with eight members. It was located in Brandywine Township in Hancock County, Indiana about 4 miles south and two miles west of Greenfield. The church met in a log school house until they were able to build a church in 1868. When the church celebrated its centennial in September 1934, Ozrow Kemerly was the minister and the congregation had 150 members. In June 1967, the church property was transferred to the Sugar Creek Baptist Church and the church building was torn down in 1974.
