Scope and Contents

This collection comprises a 12-page typed essay entitled "Yesterdays" by Dr. Frank C. Steward circa 1910 regarding Stewart's road trip with his daughter, uncle and aunt to visit places he remembered as a child around Peru and La Fontaine, Indiana. He presented his paper to the Century Club of Indianapolis.

Biographical Note

Frank C. Stewart was born in Wabash County, Indiana, on December 8, 1853. He worked as a physician specializing in obstetrics and children's diseases. For seven years, Dr. Stewart was the house doctor for the Indianapolis Orphans' Home. He was also a member of the Century Club of Indianapolis. Stewart died on January 1, 1920, in Indianapolis, Indiana.
