This collection includes one book from Benjamin Hockensmith ranging from 1816 to 1817 in Indianapolis, Indiana regarding arithmetic and a list of births, as well as, a pamphlet from 1882/10/04 for the Marion County Seminary Boys.

The book gives instructions on how to do arithmetic as well as problems that have been solved. At the end of the book is a list of births in the Hockensmith family.
