Biographical Note
Preston married Charlotte Wood on May 19, 1843 in Vigo County, Indiana, and they had four children: William, Margaret, Nathaniel and John. He farmed from 1850 to 1871. Preston died in November of 1871 and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Terre Haute.
