Biographical Note

Aaron Grady was born March 30, 1825 in Ohio. He served, first as a corporal, then as a sergeant with Company G of the 91st Regiment Ohio Volunteers. He wrote a poem, "Sheridan's victory, at the battle of Cedar Creek". He was married first to Margaret H. Rogers in 1849, with whom he had three children by 1860; she died in 1868 or 1869. On June 6, 1869 he married Sarah Maria Miner, with whom he had one child. He was a minister, and... he died March 30, 1904 in Indianapolis, where his family had moved in 1890. He is buried in Little Mound Cemetery, Richmond Dale, Ohio.
