Biographical Note

Eugene H. Conner, M.D. and his wife Mary lived in Louisville in 1960. He was a professor and Chairman of Anesthesiology and Emeritus Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1966. A retired physician and medical historian, he was honored with a Certificate of Merit for notable service to and advocacy of archives by a private citizen, presented by the Kentucky State Historical Records Advisory Board (SHRAB) in October 2008. He published many books of biographies of doctors and about medical matters.
