The collection includes black and white photographs, a postcard, negatives, and a scrapbook from Elkhart University in Elkhart, Indiana, dating from 1947 to 1968 regarding student life, graduations, and academics. In addition, there are graduation programs from 1947 to 1949.

Administrative History
Elkhart Business College (Elkhart, Indiana) was founded in 1882. The school taught several business-related courses of study such as bookkeeping, accounting, business administration, dental technical and medical secretarial training, and various secretarial course like shorthand and typewriting. At some time prior to 1947, the name was changed to Elkhart Business University, then, in the mid 1950's the name was changed again to the Elkhart University of Medical and Dental Technique. In the 1960's the name was changed once more to the Elkhart Institute of Technology before finally closing in 1987.
