This collection includes a photograph album with snapshots from Claude Mason in Indianapolis, Indiana ranging from 1901 to 1914 and undated regarding his day-to-day life, family, friends, holidays, recreational activities, and various sites concerning his work as a civil engineer. There is also an envelope with loose photographs from the album.

Biographical Note
Claude Chamberlin Mason was born March 9, 1884 to George W. and Lucy Jane (Chamberlin) Mason in Indianapolis, Indiana and had a younger sister named Clarissa Marie (1886-1968). In 1910, he worked as a shoe print draftsman. His World War I draft card describes him as a short, slender, white man with black hair and brown eyes. Mason married Stella Adella Fickinger (1886-1957) on August 26, 1918 in Marion County, Indiana. By 1920, Mason was employed a civil engineer who worked for the Indianapolis Board of Public Works and designed the sewer system for the city, before working on street railways. He died on April 21, 1963 and was buried in Crown Hill Cemetery in Indianapolis.
