One of the photographs of Ella C. Jamison has an obituary attached to the back.

Biographical Note

Reverend Robert Levi Welshon Jamison (b. ca. 1833) and his wife, Ella Caroline (Caferty) Jamison (b. ca. 1838), had four daughters, Sarah E. (Jamison) Wilson (b. ca. 1858), Elenor "Ella" (Jamison) Simmons (b. ca. 1859), Anna O'Dell "Della" (Jamison) Bigsby (1864-1936), and Mamie E. (1867-1926). The family lived in Illinois in 1870. After working as a painter for many years, Rev. Jamison became pastor of First Baptist Church in Trenton, Missouri before he became a Methodist pastor. Ella C. Jamison died on February 24, 1906 from liver cancer in Trenton, Missouri and was buried in Masonic Cemetery there.

Sarah E. Jamison married Thomas J. Wilson on September 1879 in Grundy County, Missouri and they had three children: Nell, Curtie, and Beulah Pearl, born June 7, 1886.

Elenor "Ella" A. Jamison married John Jay Simmons on April 9, 1885 in Breckenridge, Missouri.

Anna O'Dell "Della" Jamison married Arthur L. Bigsby (1853-) in Trenton, Missouri on April 5, 1881. The couple had two children, Lester Lee and Maida A. The family later moved to Kansas City, Missouri. Anna Bigsby died in August, 1936 and was buried in Memorial Park Cemetery in Kansas City. Maida A. Bigsby married William R. Lowry.

Mamie (Mayme) E. Jamison married William D. Rose on November 6, 1888 in Trenton, Missouri and they had one child, Trevlyn Carlisle Rose (1891-1963). She later married David N. Boatner and the family lived in Brooklyn, New York. Her son, Trevlyn Rose married Alva Krone Cole in Jersey City, New Jersey on October 7, 1912. She died of appendicitis August 18, 1926 and was buried in Masonic Cemetery in Trenton, Missouri.
