From the Collection: This collection includes photographs, magazines, manuals, brochures, pamphlets, and advertisements from the Hoosier Railroad Club in Indiana spanning from 1868 to 1992. Items outline the evolution of railways throughout the United States and internationally. There are how-to manuals for learning about trains, learning how to operate trains, and how to tell them apart. There is also a full set of photos from the development of the Union Pacific Railroad up to and including the picture of "The Golden Spike".
